So, with all of these characteristics, I can tell you that this is ok if you have a tiny space and no youngsters. The finish is very glossy and shows each bit of dust and fingerprints and likely will simply scratch. The sound is a bit lacking when compared to a a true 7.1 technique with a great (Onkyo) receiver. So, even even though this decodes DTS-HD as effectively as DD Accurate HD, it is type of useless with this system. Even though it will decode these, you will not genuinely get to value it. Also, the sub is a bit weak. You have a three channel amp to run two speakers and the sub. So, if you simply do not have the space and you have to worry about neighbors, this is an okay program. I was pondering about giving this four stars, but after all, you can do much superior with no spending that a lot a lot more.

I put in a lot of research and purchased the BD-7200 as soon as it was obtainable. There is not another item out there that has the very same features in such an attractive, compact package. Wireless Netflix, Ipod, Blu Ray w/ quick load occasions…The sound is great but not really as effective or encompassing as a genuine 7.1 or 5.1 system. If you have a little space or just do not like the wires all more than, and want all the newest functionality then this is for you!

Don’t get me wrong the sound is great, but it’s not surround sound. I have had this technique for numerous months now, I have watched a lot of movies, and maybe it is me, but in reading the item description from the manufacturer, this system, making use of two.1 channel, is supposed to simulate 5.1 surround sound. I feel it really should do that much superior then it does, specifically for the price tag of the program. If you want surround sound, this ain’t it. If you want easier setup and a program that sounds great loud, this may well work for you. I do not recommend it.
