These speakers are genuinely connected to the Quintet SL and search virtually identical from the the outdoors except for the color and the shape of the base/stand. These are glossy black whereas the Quintet SLs are a lot more of a slate colour and have round bases. This sort of sucks as Klipsch advocates these as 7.1 extensions for the SL series. They are 10 feet or so apart from the Quintet surrounds in this configuration so it’s not a glaring massive difference, but nonetheless noticeable. Klipsch says they have no plans to generate the SL line surrounds individually so it is this or totally nothing at all. A single characteristic these have that the SLs lack is a speaker wire routing hole in the base. This is an unbelievably clear oversight on the part of Klipsh on the SL speakers.

I at the moment had the set of Klipsch Quintet. It was straightforward to set up and it undoubtedly sounds remarkable. But the other straightforward purpose to order this was it comes with a base that can be effortlessly mount on the wall with out drilling, as lengthy as you have the connections premade at your home.

I love Klipsch speakers – we have them in both our surround systems. I only wish they would have shown a far much superior image, as this was a replacement for our Quintet we bought final year and it does not match the other Quintet Satellite Bookshelf speaker that we have. That was a disappointment!!
