This cable does not appear to be sheilded, as I found out the other day when my wife was utilizing the vacuum cleaner the screen went blank every single time she came close to the spot I was in. I would have not even recognized that if she was not utilizing it. Other than that the cable performs well and picture top quality is great.
So just do not vacuum while employing the wii.
