USERS REVIEWS:

I set up these NS-IW-960 in-wall Mid-Tweet-Mid speakers in my wall to go behind my film screen. I have bought Yamaha speakers just before so I knew what to anticipate, and I got it. They are vertically mounted and thrust the sound at me with great energy.

They contain a cardboard template to make the rectangular hole in the wall, a plastic speaker cover so you can paint the frame if you want, a grille and the MTM speaker. Almost everything was in best problem, like the grilles.

The crossover network is neatly tucked within a clear plastic box on the back and the spring-loaded terminals are reliable and substantial-top quality.

These speakers sound quite great by themselves and do not need a subwoofer, but I extra a left and proper sub with the volume knob set below 50% so they can fill out the deep frequencies with no getting overbearing.

I have turned my 110-watt Onkyo amp up to 80% volume and these speakers sounded wonderful, with no distortion, no rattling. I went outdoors in the yard and could hear and understand all the lyrics to the songs. OK, so my neighbors may possibly not like it that loud. But I know these front speakers can deal with it. I have not gone over 80% volume yet.

In case you happen to be interested, I set up Yamaha in-ceiling speakers for my surrounds, which sound great with music in All Channel Stereo mode.

I’ll post a photo of my all-vertical installation.

Wonderful speakers. Great service by means of this seller. The search and sound are wonderful. Currently have the six one/2″ Yamaha rounds in the ceiling of my seven.1 technique. These are my fronts and center channels. I pre-fabbed individual mdf sealed speaker cabinets in the walls just before hand and worked best for my theater room in the basement. Driven by new Yamaha 671 receiver.
