My modest book shelf Infinty speakers had been just not giving me the bass I so preferred so I went back to my roots to search for Big speakers! My receiver is an older Onkyo with no input for a woofer, therefore my bass issue. Big and strong with excellent weight. . I could not ask for something more. Great cost, free of charge shipping, bangin speakers. I use to have these huge paramount speakers that worked excellent with my receiver but following the divorce, my ex got them so my search was on. I happened across these Cerwin Vegas. Sitting on a carpeted floor with 4 massive dogs in the home, I required weight! The prolonged and short of it is, yes, I am rockin yet again just like the old days
The bass really comes out, but not in an overwhelming way. I would advise these speakers to anybody would enjoys listening to music, and would like speakers that can play it as it was meant to be heard!. They sound fantastic at low volume or loud, taking part in rock, jazz, or classical. Overall the sound quality is balanced and quite pleasing. I am not in any way disappointed.
