I was 1st going to purchase some other wall speakers that received good testimonials from customers, but I recognized that the midrange speakers on these had been only five. 25″ on a single and six. 5″ on the other and figured that for a speaker on these 8″ Miccas I would get richer sounds for the value. I am quite pleased and I really do not miss a subwoofer and feel like hanging out all night in the basement jamming to the tunes. The directional tweeter is a bonus. . As soon as I hooked up the pair (installs very easily), I listened to “Insane Rhythms” by The Feelies and the drums roared to existence and I knew I produced the correct buy. I put these Micca 8 inch 2-ways in my basement and hooked them up to a Proton stereo receiver I bought twenty a long time ago, the previous kind that does not offer you surround sound, nor does it have a jack for a subwoofer, and so I am glad I purchased these speakers simply because the sound is deep and prosperous and fills the room
Value was a key factor and Micca delivered. I had to acquire a single 8″ Micca speaker to finish the center channel set up for a single of the rooms in our rental properties. The speaker matches the 8″ boston acoustics speakers employed as the front, left and center speakers in five diverse rooms, each with 7 speaker setups. Simply because the BA speakers had been only sold in pairs, this speaker was purchased to match the eight” speaker presence across the front of the sound field.
We bought 5 of these speakers for surround sound in our family members area. They look and sound wonderful in the walls! Fantastic price tag for a fabulous speaker. Order them, you will not be disappointed! We really like them.
