. These stands are vital for the Bose Cinemate program. They were comparatively straightforward to assemble, but perhaps not so for the mechanically challenged. I no longer use the speaker from my LCD TV which had terrible audio. I wish they were adjustable in height, but they do spot the speaker at a uniform distance and height from the major Television. On my Wii I could hear Mario jumping (in Super Mario Brother Wii) at least 1 second just before he jumped on the TV display. Our old Sony receiver we had to constantly adjust the volume in the course of movies. The picture appears amazing, but due to the video processing it produces too considerably latency to make the games playable. Cons: I got this so I could place my older game methods through and have their video unconverted from 480p to 1080i. This receiver works absolutely with my LG 47LW5700 3D Tv. *Lots of inputs, straightforward to reassign other inputs if the pre-combined ones do not meet your equipment demands. . I just got this receiver to replace an old Sony receiver that did not have any HDMI inputs. Pluses: *Easy setup *Great sound *Car-volume keeps loud motion photos from being too loud. If I had identified the upconverting would have created so significantly latency I would have just gone with the STR-DH520 and saved a number of bucks. Run games by way of your Tv and then the audio to your receiver. Bottom line: Great for each thing except gaming. I ended up operating everything through the inputs on my TV (without having the 1080i upscaling) and employing the Audio Return Channel to just route all sound to the receiver. This created all of my games playable with synced sound
